Fans today expect more than just a seat. They want a comfortable, premium environment with high-quality amenities and easy access to food, restrooms, and social spaces. Increasingly, the experience needs to be immersive, social, and memorable.
Uniting the band and student sections and bringing them closer to the field amplifies the game day atmosphere and maximizes home field advantage.
Digital integration, from strong connectivity to interactive in-game moments and mobile ticketing, is a must.
Moving through the facility should be easy and efficient with clear signage and no bottlenecks.
Comfortable seating is no longer reserved for those with suite access - it's expected by fans in all sections.

Improved WiFi and connectivity will increase engagement throughout the game, from live stats to social sharing. Tech-forward features like new video boards will bring fans closer to the action.

We are committed to keeping Memorial Stadium affordable to all fans by offering sections that do not require a priority seating contribution. Additionally, expanded ADA accessibility will ensure everyone can enjoy game day to the fullest with greater ease and comfort.

Football Reseat FAQs
A phased reseating process will commence prior to the 2027 season. More details will be released Fall 2026.
A reseat is the process of reassigning all season ticket locations using a priority-based selection system. All season ticket holders—regardless of how long they've held tickets—must select new seat locations.
- The renovation and reconfiguration of the south endzone and west sideline of Memorial Stadium makes a complete reseating the most equitable way to redistribute seating locations.
- The reseat allows both new and existing Nebraska Football supporters the opportunity to access seats when capacity is reduced during construction and after the renovation is complete.
Yes. All priority seating contributions throughout Memorial Stadium will be revalued for both the 2027 and 2028 seasons. Detailed information will be provided in Fall 2026.
Yes. Beginning in 2027, Nebraska will discontinue legacy priority seating contribution rates. All season ticket holders will be required to pay the full priority seating contributions associated with their seat location. This change will also help streamline and improve the annual season ticket renewal experience.
- All current Nebraska Football season ticket holders will be automatically enrolled in the Football Reseat. Fans without season tickets may enroll after the 2026 season, with more details to come.
- The reseating process will be completed online, similar to the annual seat selection process. Participants will receive an online reservation time as the reseat approaches.
- Seat selection will follow the Huskers Athletic Fund ranking system, which is used for all seating and parking selections, postseason tickets, and additional benefits. More information will be shared as it becomes available.
